The epoch event took place at Finicky hall, Jibowu Yaba, Lagos. The venue was half filled at 9 am which was the slated time for opening. On Tuesday the 10th of October 2017, the Mental Health Foundation Nigeria held a celebration of the work and effort that has gone into awareness and support of people with mental health in Nigeria. With Shalom Link Mission as an advocate for Mental Health Nigeria and in partnership with several major organizations in Nigeria, CEO and founder of Mental Health Foundation Nigeria, Mr. Emmanuel Owoyemi was able to organise an event that brought awareness to the people of Nigeria about what mental health truly is.

As announced, on the 14th of October 2017, Shalom Link Mission in partnership with Soul Reapers International hosted over 30 Widows, providing them with food such as Rice, Salt, Tomatoes, Oil and seasoning. There was also training and a word of God given by CEO and Founder of Shalom Link Mission - Grace Olayinka.
