As announced, on the 14th of October 2017, Shalom Link Mission in partnership with Soul Reapers International hosted over 30 Widows, providing them with food such as Rice, Salt, Tomatoes, Oil and seasoning. There was also training and a word of God given by CEO and Founder of Shalom Link Mission - Grace Olayinka.
The founder and CEO of Soul Reapers International, Pastor Emmanuel Owoyemi, was key to the organising and overall logistics of the event. He also spoke on the day, giving a talk on the importance of helping those in need, especially the Widows and children.
Prior to the event, many of the Widows in the area were personally invited to come and take part in the event. By doing this, we were also able to encourage the Widows to invite other Widows they knew to be in dire need, that they might also come and be blessed.
By the grace of Good, the event was a great success and many of the Widows went home blessed by the word of God, food, training and the opportunity to socialise. Below are some of the highlights of the day.
Moving forward, we plan to host even more widows and children in need throughout the coming year.
