Love is a powerful tool that can conquer all evil, a force of nature that - as Jesus showed – is fuelled by compassion into action.
By laying down his life and defeating the enemy, Jesus displayed the ultimate act of Love. He, in one simple act, became the perfect example of what love truly is.

Here at Shalom-Link-Mission (SLM), we make sure to keep to this key philosophy and in doing so are ready to follow in the footsteps of Jesus by going into the world to preach the gospel and show love to those that are unloved, forgotten, hopeless, destitute and lost.
‘This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.’ 1 John 3:16-18 (NIV)
So today, as you go about your business, show love to your neighbour wherever you are, whatever way you can; let them know the kind of Love that Jesus showed on the cross for everyone.
