We Are Called To Serve Others, Not Ourselves.

Romans 14:12 ‘so then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God’.

It is clear that on judgement day, God will compare the time we spent on ourselves with the time we spent on the others. How much time have you invested in the people God has called you to?

All of life’s excuses will mean nothing on that day, whether it’s being too busy or the “l have my own plans” that stops us from doing God’s work and will; when you get to Heaven to report, God will simply respond “I never knew you. Away from me...” (Matthew 7:23).

We have been created, saved and called, to live a life of service to God. We at SLM believe that everyone should be living a life of fulfilment found in Christ, a life founded on the fact that we have to lose our lives to be able to gain it (Mark 8:35); it’s a simple truth that is repeated five times in the Bible – if you want to HAVE, you have to be prepared to GIVE.

Our lives are meant for ministry and God wants us to learn to love and serve selflessly.
