Trip To Dongo 2016

I went to Dongo on a mission work in 2015 and the condition of the living there is appalling and cannot be ignored.

In Dongo the community do not have any schools, clean drinking water, health care and other basic amenities that will benefit the community. When I got there I was informed that one of the villagers gave birth to a new born baby in a small room.

The whole environment looked so desolate and the people are living in abject poverty. The children are affected because there are no facilities to cater for their basic needs.

This affects them physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. This is affecting their developmental growth. For instance due to their lack of schooling and education they end up getting pregnant at a very young age.
